We accept drivers who meet these minimum standards. If you're unsure about any requirement, mention it in your application and our team will follow up.
- Valid Sri Lankan driving licence (motorbike or car, depending on vehicle)
- Sri Lankan NIC (identity verification required)
- Minimum 1 year active driving experience
- No major traffic convictions in the past 3 years
- Smartphone for navigation and booking management

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?
Call our operations team — we're reachable around the clock for breakdowns. We arrange a replacement or repair; you're not charged for days the vehicle is off the road.
What if I'm in an accident?
Every fleet vehicle carries insurance. Report it to us immediately and we'll handle the claim process with you.
Can I choose which days I drive?
Yes. There's no minimum weekly commitment — drive on the days that work for you and take time off when you need it.
How do I stop driving for RentaKey?
Just call us. There's no penalty and no notice period required — though a heads-up helps us reassign the vehicle sooner.
